The infant child of Thos. Ransom and wife, of Liberty Township, died from heart disease last Saturday morning at 5 o'clock. The funeral services were held Sunday at 11 o'clock a.m. at the Locust Grove Church, Rev. Mr. Wright, of the Methodist Church officiating and interment was made in the cemetery at the church. The child was only 13 months of age and had not been well from birth. Mrs. Lucy Johnson of Stockwell, after a married life of one year, last Sunday hanged herself, using for a rope a long strip of bunting. The act was committed in her room upstairs at her father's house. She and her husband were living in Terre Haute. Her life was happy and no reason can be given for the rash deed other than that her mid was unbalance. She was only 19 years of age and of prepossessing appearance. Her funeral was held Tuesday morning. The twin daughter of A. R. McKinney and wife of Medina Township, died last Sunday morning from cholera infantum, aged 14 months. Funeral was held at 2 o'clock p.m. Monday, and interment was made in the Davis Cemetery. The little daughter, two weeks old of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Brooks of Danville, Ill., died on the 18th, and was brought here for burial in Hillside Cemetery yesterday.
