Mrs. P. W. Lewis went to Rossville, Ill., last Saturday eveing to attend the funeral of a niece, Mrs. Maude Frailey-Doctors, who died the preceding Thursday, leaving a husband and babe, the latter being only two months' old. She will probably remain the remainder of the week, as her sister, Mrs. Amanda Williamson is dangerously ill. W. T. Moore last Sunday received a dispatch from Frankfort informing him of the dangerous illness of his father-in-law, Dr. Meredith, from kidney disease. He at once arranged to have his wife go and in order to reach Frankfort at the earliest moment he took her in a private conveyance to Veedersburg Sunday night where she got a train on the Clover Leaf, running direct to Frankfort. Later-Dr. Meredith died after Mrs. Moore's arrival.
