Rev. F. D. Newhouse of Mankato, Minn., has been very ill the past ten days from pneumonia, and for a while his life was despaired of. Later intelligence informs us that he is some improved with a chance of ultimate recovery. Later- The following dispatch was received here yesterday afternoon by Mr. Roy Fox, from Mankato, Minn., at 12:39 p.m. Wednesday: "Fin died last night at 9:40. Home tomorrow 2 p.m." Mr. Fox with his daughter and the children will reach here this afternoon, bringing with them the remains. Probably the funeral will take place tomorrow. Mrs. Wm Ford, a daughter of John Rouse, died last Wednesday a few miles south of town, after a severe illness, leaving a husband and several children to mourn her loss.
