Miss Retta Tebbs of Marshfield died yesterday at 2 o'clock a.m. from dropsy. The remains were brought to this place and funeral will be held sometime tomorrow at the residence of H. C. Johnson. Interment will be in Hillside cemetery. Mrs. Layman, wife of the late Dr. Layman who several years ago resided on the farm now owned by L. A. Sailor, near this place, died at her home in Attica Monday afternoon and interred in riverside cemetery beside those of her husband. Mrs. Moses Kestling, residing on the barrens, died at her home last week on Tuesday and the funeral was conducted at the Christian Church here last Thursday at 2 p.m., Rev. G. H. Clarke and Rev. Wm Wilmer officiating. Interment was made in Hillside cemetery.
