The editor and Mrs. Gregory attended the burial of their sister, Mrs. Sarah E. Dickson at Kankakee, Ill., Monday of last week. Deceased resided at Richmond, Ind., and was the daughter of the late Robert A. Chandler of this place, who died in the spring of 1860, and was a prominent Mason. Mrs. Dickson was wife of Isaac Dickson, who died at Kankakee in 1877. For several years he was a prominent merchant here, moving to Illinois in the 60's. Edward H. Darling, after an illness of a few days, died at Dr. Osburn's Residence last Sunday afternoon from pneumonia. The funeral was held Tuesday afternoon at the residence of C.L. Messner, and interment was in hillside. The Grave Mrs. Olivia E. Linden, a widow lady of Rockford, Ill., died at Indiana Mineral Springs last Monday from blood poison and the body was shipped to Popular Grove, Ill., Tuesday morning. Deceased was born June 1834, and she was in her 67th years. she had met a serious accident with a gasoline stove, sustaining severe burns. Her son immediately brought her to the Springs and had a trained nurse to attend her, but to no avail. Correll & Boyd were the undertakers.
