The following we copy from a late Concord, N. H. Paper: "Henniker has suffered a great loss in the death on June 26, from pneumonia, at the age of 80 years and five months of Louise Learned Kelly, widow of the late Leonard W. Peabody, M. D., and daughter of Hon. Abner Kelly, a former treasurer of our state, resident here for many years. Coming of a family excelling in noble Christian character, she was especially zealous in missionary, temperance and Sunday School work. She leaves three daughters, Elizabeth K., wife of Rev. William Wilmer, Attica, Ind., Sarah M. wife of Curtis B. Childs, Henniker and Marion A., wife of Charles F. Peabody, also an orphan nephew, who has made his home in her family for many years, Clarence E. Peabody, of Boston, Mass., and two sisters, Mrs. Hannah K. Wellman of Burlington, Va., widow of the late Rev. J. Wellman, and Miss Lavinia B. Kelly, who is well known in this city." Mr. F. M. Woodard, son of the late Josiah M. Woodward, died at his home in Des Moines, Iowa, late Saturday, after an illness of six months from cancer of the bowels, aged about 70 years. Deceased was a brother of Mrs. John H Schlosser of this (Washington) Township, and moved west several years ago. He leaves a wife and one son.
