Died Wm. Rhoads, who formerly lived in Warren Township, this county, died at his home in Attica last Saturday, in the 54th year of his life. He leaves a wife and one son. Funeral and burial last Monday at 2 p.m., Rev. R. V. Briggs officiating. Died Byron Fowler, living in Lafayette, died suddenly Tuesday morning from heart failure, leaving a wife and two children. Otho Martin, of this place, an uncle of the deceased, went to Lafayette Tuesday afternoon to attend the funeral. Died John Swanson, a Swede and unmarried, living with Charley Burguson, his step-father, in crossing the railroad at the Ringer crossing, west of this place three miles, was struck by the Continental bound east yesterday afternoon and he and his team were instantly killed. Deceased was about 35 years old.
