Obituary Mrs. Nancy Louella Bright, eldest daughter of John W. and Fanny J. Rhode, departed this life April 8, 1902, at her home in Boswell. Mrs. Bright had been ill for the past two years with the dread disease consumption, and though loving life, home and ear ones with great love, she died peacefully and happy in the hope of the beautiful life beyond. Nancy Louella Rhode was born in Warren County, Indiana, Jan. 20, 1869, and was 33 years, 2 months and 19 days old at the time of her death. She was married December 25, 1889, to Oakley Bright. This union was blessed with two children, Asher, who has passed on before, Agnes, aged 4 years, who, with the husband, Father, mother and sister, Mrs. John Grames, are left to mourn her departure. The deceased led a useful, Christian life and will be sadly lamented by all who knew her beautiful traits of character. She united with the church at the age of 18 and was faithful to the end. Her death, coming as it does, in the morning of a beautiful and promising life, brings sorrow to all who knew and loved her. The funeral occurred today (Thursday) at 1 o'clock from the Presbyterian Church here, Rev. Wilmer of Attica, officiating. The remains will be laid to rest in the Boswell Cemetery.
