Anna pearl, the Infant daughter of William and Rosa B. King, of Warren Township, was born May 18, 1901 and died Sunday, May 18, 1902, aged one year. Funeral services were held at the family residence Monday, May 19, Rev. Mr Richardson, of the U. B. Church, officiating, 12:30 p.m. Interment was made in Riverside cemetery, Attica, Ind. Lydia Lester Mulhollen was the Wife of William Mulhollen, and departed this life Friday evening, May 16, 1902 at 3:05 o'clock, at the family residence, !401 Union Street, Lafayette, Ind. For 25 years deceased was an invalid and to her death was a welcome visitor. Her illness dated from an attack of nervous prostration and for some years she had been almost entirely helpless, and for a year and a half had been entirely so. She bore her suffering with Christian fortitude of a martyr. Deceased was born in Taylor County, Va., March 13, 1833. She was married to Stratton Gorham February 5, 1852, in Clinton County, O. Her husband died in 1853. To them was born one child, George W. On May 4, 1864, she was married to Wm. Mulhollen and they resided on Jasper county, Ind., until 1868, when they moved to Wayne township, Tippecanoe County, residing there until 12 years ago when the removed to Lafayette, and have since resided. Deceased was a member of the West Pleasant U. B. Church, and until Ill health made it Impossible took a very active part in all church work. She was the mother of 9 children, two of whom, Geo. W. Gorham, of Rennessalaer, and Mrs. M. R. Stith, of Lafayette, Survive. Eight grandchildren are living. She leaves Five brothers and sisters - Frank Lester, of oxford; James Lester, of Warren county; Mack Lester, of West Point; Mrs. Harriet Wickersham, Of Spring valley, O.; Mrs. Sarah McMillan, Of Clinton County, O. From our midst has gone a devoted wife, a fond mother, a loving sister and a faithful friend.
