Another Sudden Death Joseph Greenlea McAllister, of this, Washington Township, died last Thursday night at 12 o'clock at his home near this place. He had not been well for sometime and he and Mrs. McAllister had retired. Apparently he died without a struggle, as his wife did not know his condition until she waked and found him dead. Deceased was born in Indiana and had lived in this county many years. He was born May 5, 1829 and at the time of his death was 73 years, 1 month, and 28 days of age. He was a farmer all his life; was quiet, unassuming and of a kindly disposition. The funeral discourse was preached by Rev. Wm. Wilmer at the residence Friday, July 4, 1902 at 12 o'clock p.m., and the remains were interred in the West Lebanon cemetery. He leave a wife.
