Died Bennet Crook, aged 72, living in Fountain County, died on the 1st inst. from cancer of the stomach, after being bedfast six weeks. He leaves a wife, 3 sons and one daughter, and a large circle of relatives. The funeral services were held at the Newcastle Church on Wednesday, September 3, at 11 o'clock a.m., and remains were interred in the Brown cemetery. His Nephew and niece, Mr. and Mrs. Sam H. Biggs, of this place attended the funeral.
